There are trade problems between Britain and the United States because of Britain's exit from the European Union

There is confusion about many things, including trade relations, due to Brexit. This is what frustrates Prime Minister Boris Johnson ahead of the EU summit.

What did Downing Street say?

Downing Street clarified that the prime minister will be able to reach an understanding in trade relations after the European Union summit at the end of this week.  He also made clear the disappointment felt by Boris Johnson after his phone call with Ursula von der, President of the European Commission, last Wednesday.

What did Mrs. Ursula von der, President of the European Commission, talk about?

On Thursday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson scheduled a meeting of European Union leaders to reach a final agreement on trade relations. Mrs. Ursula said that the European Union wants a deal, but not at any price. She also made clear that the parties are calling on Britain to compromise on major issues, including restrictions on government subsidies to companies and hunting for names.

“More and more time wasted”

Johnson indicated his great disappointment at the waste of the past two weeks without any new progress, adding that he would work to think before taking the next step for the United Kingdom.  As a result of the foregoing, it has been decided to intensify the work and reduce the waste of time by shortening Mr. Boris Johnson of the period available to Britain to conclude a free trade agreement between them.  The date became October 15th, and he stressed that Britain must accept and move forward.  Mr. Boris Johnson and Mrs. Ursula have pledged to intensify discussions in the coming weeks to reach a final solution.

“The possibility of a lack of agreement between the United Kingdom and Britain”

French Foreign Minister Jean Yves made it clear that there is a possibility of not reaching an agreement and added that the European Union is ready for all possibilities.  The United Kingdom continued to follow trade rules even after Brexit, and the United Kingdom ruled out the possibility of extending the 11-month period that was granted to Britain.

Britain’s secession is considered a matter that constitutes a major trade tension for the European Union and not only the United Kingdom. And now the European countries are trying to do something that will solve the crisis in a quick time
